Term of copyright in an anonymous works

Section 23 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 deals with the term of copyright for anonymous and pseudonymous works. Specifically, it states that copyright for such works subsists for 60 years from the beginning of the calendar year following the year in which the work is first published. If the author's identity is disclosed before the end of this 60-year period, the copyright term extends to 60 years from the beginning of the calendar year following the year of the author's death.
