1. Define Summon Case. How much punishment can be given in a Summon case.
2. What are the power of a Special executive Magistrate.
3. Discuss the power and the qualifications for the appointment of Public Prosecutors.
4. When can a Private Person arrest?
5. Define compoundable and non-compoundable offences.

Section B
Note: Attempt any two question. Each question carries 10 marks

6. Explain the provisions relating to limitation for taking cognizance of offences 
7. Distinguish between Appeal and Revision.
8. Describe the law and procedure for maintenance of wife, children and parent in CrPC.

Section C
Note: Attempt any three question. Each question carries 20 marks

9. Define charge. Enumerate the contents of Charge. Can the court alter the charges? If so, how and up to what stage?
10. (a) Mention briefly the provision of Criminal Procedure Code regarding place of trial in criminal cases.
(b) "A" is charged having committed a theft while on railway journey from Delhi to Allahabad. Where will he be tried for the offences?
11. Describe the constitution, function and power of various criminal courts according to CrPC 1973.
12. What is bail? Discuss rules relating to bail in Non-bailable offences. Where can an accused bail as a matter of right under CrPC?
13. Write an explanatory note on the following:
(i) Trial before court of session.
(ii) Trial by a Magistrate in warrant case on a complaint.
