1. Distinguish between cognizable and non-cognizable offence.
2. Distinguish between Summons and Warrant case.
3. Distinguish between Information and Complaint.
4. What do you mean by Revision?
5. What do you mean by Reference?

Section B
Note: Attempt any two question. Each question carries 10 marks

6. Explain the powers of a Magistrate to decide the urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger and state under what such orders are issued?
7. Describe the provisions of law dealing with prevention of breach of peace relating to dispute as to immovable property.
8. Explain the power of the court to issue orders for the maintenance of wife, children and parents.

Section C
Note: Attempt any three question. Each question carries 20 marks

9. What do you understand by First Information Report (FIR)? What are the duties of an police officer and procedure for investigation on receipt of such report?
10. "Forever distinct offence of which any person is accused there be separate charge and every such charge shall be tried separately". Explain this statement in view of the provisions giving in CrPC. 
11. In what cases an accused can be relieved on bail? If it is a non-bailable offence when bail can be accepted?
12. Explain in brief the procedure to be adopted in trial of a summon case.
13. Explain the Constitution, function and powers of various courts according to the code of criminal procedure.
