2. Give the meaning of any two sets of homonyms given below and use them in your own sentences:
(a) Wait : weight
Ans: Wait - stay where one is or delay action until a particular time or event.

Weight - a body's relative mass or the quantity of matter contained by it, giving rise to a downward force; the heaviness of a person or thing.
"Ramesh has gained lot of weight in the last few months."
(b) Route : root
Ans: Route - a way or course taken in getting from a starting point to a destination.
"We took the scenic route from Mumbai to Pune."
Root - the part of a plant that grows under the ground and takes in water and minerals that it sends to the rest of the plant.

(c) Blue : Blew
Ans: Blue - of a colour intermediate between green and violet, as of the sky or sea on a sunny day.

Ans: Paws - an animal's foot having claws and pads.
