1. If two Hindus die in circumstances where it is difficult to decide who died earlier and who died later, then which provision of law under Hindu Succession Act, 1956 will be applicable to decide succession?
2. What is the effect of custom on indu marriage after the passing of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955?
3. Can a wife demand separate residence from her husband? If so, state the conditions in which she can under Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956.
4. If valid consent has not been obtained by any of the parties to a Hindu marriage will that marriage be void or voidable under the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955?
5. What do you understand by the term 'De facto guardian'? Can he alienate or deal with a minor's property under the provisions of Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956?

Note: Attempt any two question. Each question carries 10 marks

6. Define the term Desertion as a ground of divorce and its essential elements in the light of  Supreme Court's case Bipin Chandra vs Prabhavati AIR 1956 SC.
7. Is it possible for a Hindu to write a will regarding his separate and joint property both? What is the law provision in Hindu Succession Act in this matter?
8. Discuss the essentials of a valid adoption as laid down in Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance At, 1956.

Note: Attempt any three question. Each question carries 20 marks

9. Define the terms minor and guardian with reference to the provisions of Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956.
10. What do you understand by prohibited degrees of relationship? Who are included within it and for what purpose? What is the effect of custom in this regard? Explain with examples.
11. What is the meaning of Notional Partition? When is it needed and how it is reached? Answer with reference to Hindu Succession Act 1956.
12. Define and distinguish between void and voidable marriages and the effects of both giving suitable examples of both.
13. What are the consequences of Hindu converting to another religion or becoming a hermit on his right to act as guardian of a minor, under Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act 1956?
