2. Main schools of Mitakshara in Hindu Law.
3. Importance of Saptpadi as a proof of Hindu Marriage.
4. Who is Considered minor according to the provisions of Minority and Guardianship Act 1956.
5. What is the meaning of the words 'Capacity to Adopt' in view of Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act 1956?

Section B
Note: Attempt any two question. Each question carries 10 marks

6. In how many Categories or Classes a Hindu intestate's Legal heir are divided according to Hindu Succession Act 1956 and what is the order of preference amongst them regarding inheritance of a deceased Hindu?
7. What are the essentials of a valid marriage under the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act 1956?
8. Can a female owner of Hindu joint family property having undivided share in that property claim partition? If so when? Discuss.

Note: Attempt any three question. Each question carries 20 marks

9. Define Coparcenary. Who can be members of a Coparcenary in a Hindu Joint family and what are their special rights vis a vis other members of Hindu Joint Family?
10. Discuss the rights of Legal Guardians regarding the person and property of a minor. Can he dispose of minor's property? If so in what circumstances?
11. What do you understand by Desertion as a ground of Divorce? What is the meaning of the word 'Animus Desserendi' and 'Factum of Separation' as two essential elements to constitute the ground of Desertion. Explain the law with reference to decided leading cases on the subject.
12. What are the salient and fundamental changes brought about by the Hindu Succession Act 1956. Discuss.
13. Discuss the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act 1955 regarding Divorce by Mutual Consent. Do you think that it was a good move to introduce this additional ground for Divorce? Give reasons for your answer.
