1. Savigny viewed law as a slo, almost imperceptible growth that is formed in much the same way as a language is.
2. Salmond defined jurisprudence as the science of the first principles of the civil law. In view of this statement discuss the nature of jurisprudence.
3. Austin defined jurisprudence as the law laid down by a political superior for controlling the conduct of those subject to his authority. In view of this statement explain the nature of law.
4. According to Rosco Pound ""Law is social engineering". Explain this definition of Law.
5. Write note on importance of the study of jurisprudence.

6. Write a note on revival of natural law.
7. Describe the doctrine of withering away of Law and State.
8. Savigny believed that law is a product of the general consciousness of the people and a manifestation of their spirit. Comment.

12. Leon Duguit propounded a natural law theory. Analytically criticise the theory.
13. Julius Stone calls the realist movement a gloss on the sociological approach. Comment.
