1. Why 10th December is celebrated as Human Rights day?
Ans: The Universal Declaration on Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations Organisation on 10th December 1948. This was the first major step by an international organisation towards protecting the human rights across the globe. This is why this date is celebrated as Human Rights Day.

2. Concept of Human Rights
Ans: Human beings by virtue of being human posses certain basic rights which are inalienable from them. These rights defines the very existence of the human being.They acquire these rights from birth. These birth rights are inherent in all human being irrespective of caste, creed, gender, location. These rights collectively are called Human Rights.

3. Constitution of National Human Rights Commission
Ans: Constitution of National Human Rights Commission
Section 3 of the National Human Rights Protection Act 1993 provides provision for constitution of the National Human Rights Commission. As per the section 3 the NHRC will have one chairperson, 4 members to be selected as follows:
Chairperson - A person who has been Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India
1 Member - A person who has been a supreme court judge
1 Member - A person who has been Chief Justice of a High Court
2 Members to be selected from eminent personalities who are expert in Human Rights
The Chairpersons of National Minorities Welfare Commission, National Commission for Women, National Commission for SC and National Commission for ST are automatically members of the NHRC 
 
4. Name any four collective rights
Ans: 
(i) Right to Self Determination
(ii) Right to Development
(iii) Right to Safe Environment
(iv) Right to Peace

5. Cultural Rights
Ans: Cultural rights are the human rights that aims at providing an environment of equality, human dignity and non-discrimination to enjoy one's own culture. Culture plays an important role on human life which is an inseparable right.

13. Discuss the method of implementation of Human Rights as given under International Convention of Civil and Political Rights 1966.
