1. What is the procedure of election of the President of India?
2. What do you understand by the doctrine of colorable legislation?
3. When an emergency under Art 360 may be declared?
4. What is the constitutional position of the speaker of the House of the People?

Section B 
Note: Attempt any two question. Each question carries 10 marks

6. Discuss regarding the term and appointment of the Justice of Supreme Court. Briefly discuss the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.
7. "At a time membership of both the houses is restricted" Regarding this statement what are the provisions in the constitution? Explain.
8. Discuss the scope of the ordinance making power of the President. When can he issue ordinance with respect to matter of State List?  

Section C
Note: Attempt any three questions. Each question carries 20 marks

9. What do you understand by President Rule under Article 356? Why is it called most abused provision of the constitution? Whether it has caused a dent on our Federal structure? Cite example to support your answer.
10. Explain the three fold constitutional, civil and criminal appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. When a person is entitled to appear to the Supreme Court as a matter of right?
11. A constitution which may be prima facie rigid in practice prove to be very flexible as happened in India. Explain the procedure of amendment of the Indian Constitution under Art 368. 
12. Discuss the interrelation of the two houses of parliament in the legislative process. When a joint sitting of both houses takes place? Give an example of such joint sitting. Whether the role of upper house is lower than the lower house in the legislative process?
13. Discuss the scheme of distribution of legislative power with regard to subject matter of legislation in our constitution. When the center can legislate on a subject matter of State List? How center control state legislation? Cite relevant constitutional provisions.
