The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is a legally-binding international agreement by the UN signatory nations. This convention sets out the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of every child, irrespective of their race, religion, place of birth or abilities. The four core principle of this convention are:
- Non-Discrimination.
- Best interests of the children
- The right to survival and development.
- The views of the child.
