5. What is the penalty for contravention of the Maternity Benefit Act 1961 by employer?

6. Explain the doctrine of notional extension of employers premises under Workmen's Compensation Act 1923.
7. Discuss the Grievance Redressal Machinery.
8. Explain the disposal of cases of unauthorised deductions under Payment of Wages Act 1936?

Note: Attempt any three question. Each question carries 20 marks

9. Discuss the employer's liability to pay compensation under the Workmen's  Compensation Act 1923.
10. Discuss the rights and immunities available to a registered trade union under the Trade Union Act 1926.
11. Define industrial dispute. Whether following disputes are industrial disputes? explain:
(a) A dispute between a single workman and his employer.
(b) A dispute between a dismissed employee and his employer.
12. "Section 11-A of the Industrial Disputes Act 1947 gives discretionary power to labour court, Industrial Tribunal and National Tribunal to give appropriate relief to the discharges or dismissed workman" comment.
13. Write short notes on any two
