Appearing for the sixth semester LLB examinations means your are almost there! In a matter of few months you will be a lawyer and be qualified to become an advocate. Well there is a difference between Lawyers and Advocates. All the LLB graduates are by default lawyers. But to become an advocate, one needs to pass the advocacy examinations as well. This is a two step process. First, the candidate has to register in a bar council. Second, pass the All India Bar Examination conducted by the Bar Council of India.
