Conciliation proceedings do not end with a "judgment" but through specific methods of closure defined under Section 76 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
By Settlement Agreement: When the parties sign a written settlement agreement; this is the most successful form of termination.
By Conciliator’s Declaration: A written declaration by the conciliator stating that further efforts at conciliation are no longer justified.
By Joint Declaration: A written declaration by the parties addressed to the conciliator stating that the proceedings are terminated.
By Unilateral Withdrawal: A written declaration by one party to the other party and the conciliator stating that they wish to withdraw from the process.
