Answer: Section 2(2) of Civil Procedure Code defines Legal Representative as a person who in law represents the estate of a deceased person and includes any person who inter middles with the estate of the deceased and where a party sues or is sued in a representative character the person on whom the estate devolved on the death of the party so sueing or sued.
In general terms Legal Representative represents a deceased person in court against whom a legal proceeding was going on. This can be done to the extent to which accountable or to that portion of the property which has come in his hand.
