Under Section 2(g) of the Trade Unions Act, 1926, a "Trade Dispute" is any dispute between:
Employers and workmen,
Workmen and workmen, or
Employers and employers.
It must be connected with the employment or non-employment, or the terms of employment, or the conditions of labour of any person. "Workmen" in this context means all persons employed in trade or industry, regardless of whether they are in the employment of the specific employer with whom the dispute arises.
