Under Section 2(b) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, an "Award" is the interim or final determination of any industrial dispute or of any question relating thereto.
Authorities: It is delivered by a Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, or National Industrial Tribunal. It also includes an arbitration award made under Section 10A.
Binding Nature: Once published in the Official Gazette, it becomes legally binding on all parties to the dispute after 30 days.
